Just wanted to share a recent custom Stormer I completed for a customer! She’s a SUPER cartoon-accurate doll, even with the straighter/wavy hair we see in the series. She is one of my favorites that I have done, to date!

I helped my customer find all of the missing pieces of Stormer’s original fashion, too. Here she is posed with one of my custom keytars - available at my Etsy shop.

She is on her way to Nashville, TN. We should be seeing her at the Grand Ole Opry any day now… :)

These two ladies are customized from head-to-toe by me! They’re repainted in a cartoon-accurate style, and dressed in handmade cartoon fashions, and available on Ebay right now! Who wants to adopt Pizzazz or Roxy? They won’t make TOO much mischief…

I am excited to share a project with you that I have been working on for WEEKS! I created cartoon-accurate keytars for Stormer! (It always bothered me that they gave her doll a guitar when she should have had a keytar!) They are for sale in my Etsy shop! Enjoy! :)

Just finished a cartoon custom Aja repaint!

I just wanted to share this photo from JemCon 2012 in St. Louis. This is the lovely and HILARIOUS Louise Dorsey, the speaking voice of Jetta. She was kind enough to pose with me (in my Jem cosplay!) and my custom Jetta doll!
Louise was not on the roster of expected guests - she was, in fact, a surprise guest! I loved meeting her; Jetta is one of my favorite characters!

One more view of my custom Misfits! Yeah!! ~Dear Stormer

I just completed a custom order for an amazing customer. She ordered all three Misfits with custom cartoon-style repaints, plus custom fashions. (Custom work and Jem doll fashions are available at my shop, Dear Stormer!)

I just wanted to share my entry in the 2013 Official JemCon Fashion Design Contest, now that the contest is over (and it’s okay to break anonymity)! The challenge was to create a Flipside Fashion that can be shared by a Hologram and a Misfit.
My design features Aja and Jetta. I didn’t win, but it was fun to enter and there were lots of great entries! You can see the winner here, and the other entries here!

One more “before and after” - here’s Kimber, the Hasbro variety beside my custom cartoon-style repaint. I always liked the fact that cartoon Kimber had the same mask-like style of pink eyeshadow as Jem. I tried to give her that look here.

Interestingly, Kimber and Roxy share the same face mold, so if you check out my previous post, you’ll see how the paint really changes the look of the face. Outrageous, as Kimber would say!

A before and after view of my Roxy repaint. Here’s a Hasbro Roxy, washed and styled, beside a Roxy I already completed a cartoon-style repaint on. I think the Hasbro Roxy is pretty cute, but I love giving her a bolder, edgier, feistier look - fits her cartoon personality better, I think. :)
